East Windsor police charge out of state trio with drug violations

Three people from out of state were allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia at the Windsor Corner Shopping Center March 21, according to the East Windsor Police Department.

A police officer responded to a report of a person slumped over the wheel of a vehicle at the shopping center on Route 130. The officer discovered drug paraphernalia in plain sight in the vehicle. The investigation revealed the car’s three occupants allegedly had drug paraphernalia in their possession, police said.

A 37-year-old Delaware City, Del. woman, a 30-year-old Reading, Pa. man and a 41-year-old Philadelphia man were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said. In addition, the Reading, Pa. man was charged with possession of crack cocaine.

The woman was also charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of heroin, obstruction of the administration of law and hindering apprehension, police said. She allegedly resisted being taken into custody and allegedly attempted to discard contraband.

The trio was processed and released.
