A 29-year-old East Windsor Township woman was charged with shoplifting for allegedly attempting to leave the ShopRite grocery store on Route 130 without paying for items valued at a combined $152.13 March 28. She was processed and released.

A 41-year-old East Orange man and a 52-year-old Elizabethport man were charged with theft and conspiracy to commit theft after a police officer discovered them at the rear of the Royal Plaza, near a used cooking oil container, on March 24. The Elizabethport man was also charged with defecating in public. The pair allegedly stole used cooking oil from the container and pumped it into their van, which had a large collection bin and pumping system. They were released from the scene on a complaint summons.

A 28-year-old Manalapan man was arrested March 24 and charged with burglary, theft and criminal mischief in connection with the burglary of the East Windsor Bowl and Recreation business on Route 130 in October 2022. He allegedly stole $30,000 in cash and merchandise from the business and also caused $13,000 worth of damage during the burglary.

A 46-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and reckless driving following a car crash in the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot March 24. The man was found to be responsible for the crash and allegedly showed signs of impairment. He was processed and released.

A 28-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, careless driving and reckless driving March 20 after a police officer stopped to investigate a car in the parking lot at the Americana Kitchen and Bar that was running and with its headlights on. The driver allegedly showed signs of impairment and was arrested. He was processed and released.
