Hopewell Township Police blotter

A Hallett Drive resident reported damage to their mailbox as the result of a motor vehicle crash May 28.

A Ewing Township man was arrested on an outstanding National Crime Information Center (NCIC) warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Bear Tavern Road May 27. He was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A Pennington-Titusville Road resident reported that their mailbox was damaged overnight May 24-25. Tire marks and a rearview mirror were found nearby from a possible hit-and-run crash.

A Ewing Township woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant from the East Brunswick Municipal Court after she was stopped for speeding on Route 31 May 23. She was processed and turned over to the East Brunswick Police Department.

Catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles parked on East Broad Street, Cook Place and Model Avenue in Hopewell Borough. The thefts from a Honda Accord, a Nissan NV 2 and a Honda Element were reported May 23.

A Harbourton-Rocktown Road home was burglarized while its occupants were on vacation. The burglars stole cash, jewelry and coins valued at an estimated $21,000. The burglary was reported May 19.

Someone tossed eggs at a Manley Drive home overnight between May 19-20. There was no damage to the house.

A vandal smashed the rear window on a vehicle belonging to a Hart Avenue resident overnight May 18-19.
