A 61-year-old West New York man was killed when he became trapped between a Lexus SUV and a detached garage on Red Hill Road Nov. 29, according to the Princeton Police Department.

The man was standing in the driveway of the home on Red Hill Road shortly before 10 a.m. when the 53-year-old driver of the Lexus GX put the vehicle into reverse and struck him, police said.

He was pinned between the Lexus GX and the garage, police said. The driver was uninjured, but the man died of his injuries.

The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office’s Serious Collision Response Team was sent to the crash scene to help the Princeton Police Department with its investigation.
