Trenton woman charged with crime spree at Nassau Park Pavilion

A Trenton woman has been charged with multiple offenses after allegedly going on a crime spree at the Nassau Park Pavilion shopping center, according to the West Windsor Police Department.

The woman was first charged with burglary and theft for allegedly entering a parked car and stealing items while it was parked at the shopping center at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11, police said.

A victim had made some purchases at Target and put them in the trunk of her car, police said. She then made additional purchases at Wegmans and drove home.

When she arrived at home, she discovered that her laptop computer, her Sunoco gasoline credit card and the items that she bought at Target were missing. She had left the car unlocked and had not fully closed the trunk of the car, police said.

The suspect allegedly noticed the trunk of the car was ajar, opened it and allegedly stole the Target purchases, police said. She also allegedly entered the unlocked vehicle and stole items.

A couple of hours later, the suspect returned to the shopping center and entered the TJ Maxx store. She allegedly put clothing and beauty and fragrance items, valued at a combined $546.63, in reusable shopping bags and left the store without paying for them, police said.

The woman was processed and charged with the offenses. She has a court date pending.
