Hillsborough Township Police blotter

Dec. 1 – A Hillsborough resident reported their unlocked/running vehicle was entered while at Kiddie Academy, 716 Route 206. The victim reported a purse, phone, cash and jewelry were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 2 – A resident of Wellington Court reported a package containing $80
worth of shoes was stolen from the front porch. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 2 – A resident of Solga Road reported various items were taken out of his
unlocked vehicle which were valued at $1,570.00. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 3 – A 21-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) while his vehicle was disabled on Mill Lane. He was processed and released.

Dec. 3 – A resident of Matthew Road reported their unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and $95 worth of items were stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 3 – A 30-year-old Hillsborough man was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on Falcon Road. He was processed and released.

Dec. 7 – A 22-year-old Leland, N.C. was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on the Route 206 Bypass. He was processed and released.

Dec. 8 – A resident on Wescott Road reported an individual in a black mask and gloves damaged a camera on his property and was unable to enter the homeowner’s locked vehicle. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 9 – A resident of Case Drive reported a Shark Vacuum, and a mini refrigerator was stolen out of their Honda Odyssey. The total value of the items was $559.98. The victim did not know where or when this theft occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 13 – A Bridgewater resident reported his vehicle was entered while parked in the Flagtown section of Hillsborough. The victim reported hunting gear stolen from the vehicle. They valued the items at $1,500. The victim had no timeframe of when the theft occurred. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 14 – A 46-year-old Hillsborough woman was arrested for DWI while on a traffic stop on New Amwell Road. She was processed and released.

Dec. 15 – A 22-year-old Paulsboro man was arrested for hindering while on a traffic stop on Route 206 after providing officers with a fake name. He was processed and released.

Dec. 15 – A resident of Poppy Drive reported their unlocked vehicle was entered overnight and a phone charger was stolen. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 16 – A 35-year-old Somerset man was arrested for receiving stolen property (disorderly persons offense) while on a traffic stop at 118 Route 206. During the stop he was found with a stolen license plate. He was processed and released.

Dec. 17 – A resident of Allen Court reported a $35 package was stolen off his front porch after delivery. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 19 – Officers responded to the area of Merritt Drive for the report of a subject using a saw in the parking lot during the overnight hours. Once on scene the subject fled. Several vehicles in the area were found to have had their catalytic converters removed. Residents are asked to report any suspicious activity, or the sounds of power tools being used in parking lots during the overnight hours.

Dec. 19 – A resident of Petrik Farm Road reported her mail being stolen out of her mailbox by a suspect in a white sedan. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 22 – Cooking oil located in Green Earth Bio-Diesel’s container stored behind Petrock’s Bar and Grill, 419 Amwell Road, was stolen after an unknown actor cut a hole in the side and drained it. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 22 – A bag of towels was stolen from the Triangle Wash and Fold, 294 Route 206, by a male suspect. The laundry was valued at $390.

Dec. 25 – Residents in Hamilton Road and Flanders Drive area reported mail being taken from their mailboxes. A white SUV was seen in front of one of residence at the time of the theft. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 29 – A resident on Valinor Road reported an individual in a mask, Amazon
vest and Door Dash bag stole a package containing two iPhones off his porch. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 29 – A Kimberly Drive resident reported his vehicle was vandalized while parked on Sutphin Lane. He reported the vehicle had been “egged” and found other damage to the front bumper and reflectors. The damage was estimated at $500. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 29 – Two residents on Wildflower Lane reported the catalytic converters were removed from their vehicles, a 2012 VW Jetta and 2007 Toyota Prius. The parts were valued at $1,000 The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 30 – A suspect wearing gloves and a backpack was seen pulling on car door handles on Milburn Drive. The complainant stated the actor fled the scene when they realized a doorbell camera was recording. The investigation is ongoing.

Dec. 30 – A Hillsborough resident reported $350 in cash was removed from her wallet after she left it in a shopping cart at the Weiss Market, 315 Route 206. The investigation is ongoing.
