East Windsor Township Police blotter

A 37-year-old East Windsor Township man who was involved in a car crash in the parking lot of the Wendy’s fast-food restaurant was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving at 7:17 p.m. April 23. He was processed and released.

A 34-year-old Bensalem man was arrested on outstanding warrants from Wildwood City after he was stopped by police for using his hand-held cellphone on Route 130 on April 22. He was also charged with using a hand-held device. He was processed and released.

A 32-year-old Doylestown, Pa., man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after a police officer stopped to investigate a suspicious vehicle idling in the parking lot at John’s Auto Repair on Route 130 at 1:48 a.m. April 21. He was processed and released.

A 39-year-old East Windsor Township man whose vehicle struck a parked car at the Windsor Regency motel was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and failure to notify of a change of address at 12:22 a.m. April 20. He was processed and released.

A 58-year-old East Windsor Township woman was charged with three counts of shoplifting April 19 for allegedly taking items valued at more than $500 from ShopRite on Route 130 on April 11, April 13 and April 14. She was processed and released.

A 36-year-old East Windsor Township woman was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child after she allegedly struck another woman in the back of the head while the victim was holding her infant April 18. The victim and the woman were engaged in an argument when the assault occurred in the lobby of the Windsor Hotel on Route 33. The woman was processed and taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

A 28-year-old New Brunswick man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, careless driving and refusal to take a breath test after a police officer responded to help the man whose car had a flat tire on Route 130 at 8:48 p.m. April 16. He was processed and released.
