Helen E. Trimble, 93, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Wilmington, DE, she was a long-time resident of Princeton, NJ.
First and foremost, she was Mom or Grandmom but not just to her 50 descendants. She touched many lives, giving encouragement and showing love. She was always willing to help, however she could. She loved having all the children around her for so many years. Having her youngest great-grandson living in the house with her brought a smile to her face every time he toddled into her room asking for crackers.
She was very active in her church and was a prayer warrior right up to the end. She helped out in the kitchen, her favorite place in any building, whether it was church lunch, VBS snacks, or simply doing the necessary shopping.
As the secretary for George’s computer consulting business (T-Logic, Inc) in the 70’s and 80’s, she became proficient using computers. George frequently updated or tweaked computer settings, so every time she sat down something had changed, which drove her crazy. Her secretarial stint was interrupted when she spent two years taking care of the youngest child undergoing chemotherapy for leukemia.
She worked various other jobs over the years, the most recent at Trinity Counseling Service (where they retired her four times). Everywhere she went, people have great memories of her.
Daughter of the late Everett R. England and Amber E. Cameron. Helen is predeceased by her husband George R Trimble, Jr, her brother Clifford England, sister Francis Payne, daughter-in-law Melodie Trimble, and grandson Erik Benson. She is survived by her 7 children: Yvonne Butville and her husband Richard, Diane Ferrara and her husband Nicholas, David Trimble, Sharon Trimble and her husband Craig Benson, Steven Trimble and his wife Annette, Phebe Trimble and her husband Felix Cruz, Rebecca Louie and her husband David; 16 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
