Linda J. (Alcorn) Bloom, 76, of Monroe, NJ, peacefully passed away on May 15, 2025, surrounded by her loving family in the comfort of her home. Her life, marked by kindness, hard work, and a profound love for her family, will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.

Born on August 23, 1948, in New Brunswick, NJ, Linda was raised in Hightstown. She graduated from Hightstown High School, where her journey began, leading her to become a dedicated mother and an industrious entrepreneur. Linda moved to the Cranbury area to raise her beloved sons, Adam and Jason, and later made her home in Monroe for the last 17 years of her life. As a self-employed owner of a residential cleaning service, she thrived on the flexibility it provided, allowing her to balance her professional and personal life beautifully. In her later years, Linda expanded her skill set by working in the customer service department at Home Depot in Howell, where her creativity shone through her work in enhancing the customer experience. For fun, Linda, along with several family members, sang in Sweet Adelines for many years. She sang Baritone in two award winning quartets, Special Edition and British Sterling, even appearing on TV with one of the two.

Linda was an avid lover of the Jersey Shore, relishing family trips to Lavallette where her parents spent the summer and living in Ocean Grove, where laughter and love filled the air. She was a seeker of knowledge, always eager to learn and grow, and her unwavering strength and positivity inspired everyone around her. Linda’s generosity of spirit and unconditional love left an indelible mark on her family, as she consistently endeavored to live by the Golden Rule, treating others with compassion and kindness. As we remember Linda, we do so with joy and gratitude for the precious moments we shared, for her unwavering love, and for the light she brought into our lives. May her spirit forever inspire us to live with purpose and compassion.

Predeceased by her parents, George M. and Jane W. (Witte) Alcorn; Linda leaves behind a legacy of love. She is survived by her devoted sons, Adam A. Bloom and Jason A. and his wife, Vanessa Bloom, of Oceanport; her beloved grandchildren, Savannah and Benny Bloom of Oceanport; and her cherished siblings, Robert and Kathryn Alcorn and Janice Alcorn Ridley, both of Monroe, Kenneth and Dr. Elizabeth A. Atkinson of Cumming, GA, Beverly and Noel Sabatino of Monroe, and Melissa and John Nicola of East Windsor. Linda will be dearly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family, all of whom shared countless memories filled with laughter and infamous family gatherings.

In celebration of Linda’s remarkable life, a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date where family and friends will gather to share stories, honor her memory, and sing karaoke in honor of Linda.
