A 44-year-old Pennsylvania man was killed when he lost control of his motorcycle and struck a telephone pole on Franklin Corner Road on June 13, according to the Lawrence Township Police Department.
The man, who lives in Levittown, Pa., was riding a 2023 Royal Enfield motorcycle when the crash occurred shortly before 7 a.m., police said. He was traveling east on Franklin Corer Road.
The first police officers on scene found the man was unconscious. Life-saving measures were begun and he was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton. He was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.
Franklin Corner Road was closed for more than two hours between Princeton Pike and Route 1 while police investigated the crash.
The crash is under investigation by the Lawrence Township Police Department and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office’s Serious Collision Response Team.
