A 29-year-old Somers Point man was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving and careless driving after police responded to the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot to investigate a possibly intoxicated driver at 2:14 a.m. June 25. He was processed and released.

A 28-year-old Newark man was arrested on an active warrant from Millstone after the vehicle in which he was riding was involved in a crash in the area of Route 130 and Old Cranbury Road June 24. He was processed and released after posting bail.

A 35-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with driving under the influence, failure to stop, careless driving and being an unlicensed driver after a police officer observed the vehicle being driven erratically on Route 33 at 1:19 a.m. June 22. He was processed and released.

A 54-year-old East Windsor Township man was charged with shoplifting for allegedly putting $13.40 worth of merchandise in a bag and leaving ShopRite without paying for it June 21. ShopRite employees confronted the man, who fled on foot after dropping the bag in the parking lot. The man was identified and charged.
