Brookdale’s 41st Annual Education Open Golf Outing
Honors Two Front Line Alumni
The Brookdale Community College Foundation will host the 41st Annual Education Open Golf Outing on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Eagle Oaks Golf & Country Club in Farmingdale, NJ. The shotgun start begins at 11:30 a.m. Proceeds will benefit the Invest in Student Success Scholarship fund.
Eagle Oaks features an 18-hole championship golf course that is a Johnny Miller Signature Design, in association with Golden Bear Association. It also features an elegantly appointed 60,000 square foot clubhouse and golf shop, with a southern colonial charm.
At the awards dinner, honored will be Front Line Brookdale Alumni Nichole Schumann and Jorge Terreros, in recognition for their service and commitment to helping others impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The all-day outing includes a deli lunch and a post-play BBQ Buffet on the Outdoor Patio & 19th Hole with an open bar.
Golfers may win individual and team prizes, including two hole-in-one contests to win a two-year lease on a new Infiniti donated by Circle Infiniti in West Long Branch and a two-year lease on a Cadillac donated by Gold Coast Cadillac of Oakhurst. The evening will feature awards presentations for individuals and teams, including special prizes for closest to the pin and longest drive, as well as blind skins games, a live auction which includes a matched gift by Tito’s Homemade Vodka, among other activities.
The Brookdale Foundation is currently selling tickets for a 50/50 raffle up to 500 tickets will be sold and the winner will be announced at the awards BBQ buffet. Winner need not be present.
