Native plants thrive in our region,making them uniquely qualified to be low-maintenance and supportive of our native birds, insects, and animals. To learn more about bringing native plants to your yard, join Sustainable Princeton for its third Ask An Expert series, open to the public.

During this virtual discussion, Mike Van Clef, a native and invasive plant expert, will answer all burning questions about gardening with native plants and controlling invasive species. Mike is the Stewardship Director of Friends of Hopewell Valley Open Space (FoHVOS) and serves as the Program Director of its NJ Invasive Species Strike Team.
