The laughter will be nonstop at the Brook Arts Center when four of the funniest people born and raised in New Jersey take the stage live on October 9, 2021 at 8pm. Nationally headlining comedian, Julia Scotti, burst onto the national scene when she dropped the F-Bomb and came out as transgender on America’s Got Talent. Only a true Jersey girl would do that!  Julia currently has a comedy special on SHOWTIME called “More Women of a Certain Age”! and The Julia Scotti Story: Funny That Way, chronicles the comic’s journey.Uncle Floyd is a Jersey icon! Back in the 70s and 80s, Paterson native and comedian Floyd Vivino’s “Uncle Floyd Show” entertained New Jersey and New York television audiences. The show was a low budget mix of vaudeville comedy, old-time piano tunes, and bands like The Ramones, Cindy Lauper. Bon Jovi, David Bowie, and Madonna. Much of the humor was aimed at adults in the style of Soupy Sales and Pee-Wee Herman. With special guest Tom Mongelli, who’s observational topical humor and his memories of growing up Italian will have you asking for more. Mostly clean, but always funny! Tom is the Winner of the Meadowlands Comedy Festival and has opened for comedy legends Gilbert Gottfried, Bob Nelson, and Uncle Floyd.  The night of laughs is hosted by comedian and radio personality Steve Trevelise. Discounted Presales Tickets at www.brookarts.org or 732-469-7700. Box Office Opens at 6pm. Door Price $35. All seats are reserved social distanced seating.  Concessions and Free Parking available.
