Y.A.L.E. School welcomes parents and guardians of children with disabilities under the age of 21 to the next event in its Compass Speaker Series, a free presentation at YALE’s Vocational Annex in Cherry Hill on Thursday, February 20 at 7 p.m. Educators, service providers and all members of the community are also welcome to hear important information to help guide them through the medical and developmental turning points ahead for a child with disabilities.

This is the second event of Y.A.L.E. School’s Compass Speaker Series – a can’t-miss lineup of sessions featuring experts who can help parents and guardians plan confidently for independent living, employment, education and training, as well as adult services and benefits.

The event features two presentations:

• “Navigating a Successful Route to Adult Medicine” from guest presenters Dr. Alyssa Siegel, Clinical Director, and Stephanie Practico, Program Manager, NJ Transition to Adult Coordinated Care Program at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

• “Medication Management: Overcoming Roadblocks to Compliance” presented by Y.A.L.E.’s Stephen Neff, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, M.Div., MSN, APN, PMHNP-BC

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested.
