Join the Cranbury community in celebrating the successful restoration of the historic 1713 East Jersey Cottage. The Cranbury Historical & Preservation Society has worked tirelessly to achieve this initial phase of restoration and is organizing a Colonial Fair & Spring Picnic to acknowledge the building’s significance in the American Revolution.
The Sons of the American Revolution and BSA Troop 52 will open the celebration with the presentation of colors. Mayor Ferrante will share opening remarks. Vincent and Ann Bodine, owners of the cottage during the American Revolution, will share their story during the day. Cranbury Girl Scouts will lead Colonial Games on the lawn, in addition to an American Girl Doll table and lemonade stand. Additional music and food truck vendors will share period music and special menu options for the day.
