FAMILY EVENT: WINGS OF LIFE

Discussion will be moderated by Mary Anne Borge, Editor of Butterfly Gardener magazine, Team Leader for Lambertville Goes Wild, an instructor at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve, and a Pennsylvania Master Naturalist. Mary Anne is also a photographer and author of The Natural Web.

WINGS OF LIFE

Watch this beautifully photographed film and learn about a few of the thousands of insects and other animals that pollinate flowers.  Learn about some of the strategies plants use to entice visitors to their flowers.  Then join us on Saturday, April 3 at 10 am for a discussion about the movie. We’ll talk about your impressions of the film, anything new you learned from it and how what you saw in the film relates to activity you might see in your own garden or on a nearby nature trail! Watch the film for free on Disney+ or $3.99 on Amazon.

SPECIAL project: Have your student draw or make a flying real or imagined creature to share during the discussion and tell us why they are important to the “circle of life”. All participants get a free pass to the Acme Carpool Cinema this summer!
