Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS), a nonprofit devoted to preservation and stewardship of land in Princeton, presents an Oktoberfest Celebration in honoring their 50th Year on Sunday, October 20, 5:00-7:00 PM. Attendees can expect local craft beer, Ironbound Hard Cider, festive fare and live music from Princeton area performer, ESSIE, in the beautiful setting of the Mountain Lakes House overlooking the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve.
Tickets are available for online purchase for $25/person at Eventbrite.com (search “FOPOS Oktoberfest”). 
Mountain Lakes House, 57 Mountain Avenue, Princeton, NJ. Free parking is available in the lot near the Mountain Lakes House or in the public lot on Mountain Road with “Community Park North” signage. 
FOPOS Oktoberfest event is RAIN or SHINE. The event is scheduled to take place on the covered terrace of the Mountain Lakes House. In the event of severe weather, they will move the celebration inside the house.
