One of the most important components of any good image is light. Understanding how to find it, manipulate it, and using the best kind for a particular subject, can be challenging for anyone starting out.
In this class, we’ll examine light in its natural and man-made forms. We begin by discussing the importance of becoming “A Student of Light”, with images showing the effects of different kinds of light on various subjects and techniques to achieve what you are looking for, then put into practice these techniques by making images with the appropriate light for any subject.
