Institute Film Series screening of People’s Republic of Desire

The Institute Film Series: Economy and Society, curated by the School of Social Science, will screen People’s Republic of Desire, a film about the rise of online streaming and the revenue it brings. A post-screening discussion will be led by Horacio Ortiz, Member in the School of Social Science and Associate Professor at the Research Institute of Anthropology, East China Normal University; and Julia Chuang, Visitor in the School of Social Science and Assistant Professor of Sociology, Boston College.
