Are you a bird lover and a fan of James Bond? Join author Jim Wright, October 4, 2021 7PM at the Woodbridge Main Library, as he gives us a look into his acclaimed book The Real James Bond, a tale about the most celebrated case of identity theft in history! In 1952, Ian Fleming stole the name of famous bird expert and explorer James Bond for his James Bond 007 spy book series. Just in time for the new James Bond movie, which arrives Friday, October 8, Jim will present an illustrated talk about Bond, Fleming, 007 and some beautiful birds– with a surprise or two!

This is a hybrid event! This event will take place in-person at the Woodbridge Main Library. If you do not feel comfortable attending the event in-person we will also be streaming the event via Zoom.

Jim is the author of several books on birds and nature, including “The Real James Bond” (a noted ornithologist and adventurer). Jim is celebrating his 12th year writing the popular “Bird Watcher” column for a few USA Today newspapers in northern New Jersey. He lives in Allendale, where he is a marsh warden at the 107-acre Celery Farm Natural Area.
