Inkeeping with their commitment to serve the community, Pinnacle Health and Fitness (formerly HRC Fitness) will be hosting the 6th Annual Charity 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, October 6th in Hillsborough.
The primary beneficiary of the event is GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough which opened its doors in January 2015 to provide therapeutic programs for individuals with Down syndrome.
This event provides an opportunity to bring together many local businesses in support of GiGi’s Playhouse and other local beneficiaries. Event supporters include Platinum Sponsor, Knights of Columbus and Diamond Sponsors including Hillsborough Rotary, Law Firm of Rothenberg, Rubenstein, Berliner & Shinrod, LLC, Apex Sports and Events, Premiere Dance, and Hillsborough Family Martial Arts. Financial support for the 2019 campaign has resulted in over $10,000 donated by our generous sponsors.
Pinnacle has also expanded its charitable efforts the past few years by including the ability for other organizations to raise money and awareness for their cause. These include the Joseph D Hernandez Foundation, the Bob Quinn Family, and the Christopher Koll Family. Following the 5K run and walk, GiGi’s Playhouse Hillsborough will co-host a Post-Race Party along with their 6th annual Dash for Down syndrome to raise awareness and acceptance for individuals with Down syndrome. The Post-Race Party will include an award ceremony, prizes, food and beverages, games, and other entertainment for the whole family.
Registration for the 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk will be open until the start of the race on October 6, 2019. Please join us in supporting our beneficiaries.
