Event Type

The new indoor/outdoor Cherry Street Pier, on Philadelphia’s Delaware River waterfront, preserves the historic character of a 100 year-old warehouse with its original railroad tracks, steel-trussed roof and masonry headhouses. This vibrant year-round space is replete with photographic opportunities including working artist studios in repurposed cargo shipping containers, an active bazaar and abundant street photography. We will also visit Race Street Pier next door — a landscaped park suspended over the Delaware River beneath the Benjamin Franklin Bridge — to capture dramatic views of the bridge, visitors to the park, the waterfront, and the passing barges and boats.
