“Leonardo — Painter, Military Engineer, Inventor” will be the topic at Dorothea’s House Sunday, February 9, at 5 p.m.
Although 500 years have passed since Leonardo da Vinci’s death, his art, studies of human anatomy, and vision of future technology still astonish the world. Princeton University Professor of Aerospace and Engineering Michael Littman will focus on Leonardo’s notes, written when he was 56 years old, as a guide to appreciate his many contributions in art, science, and engineering.
Dorothea’s House is located at 120 John Street in Princeton. The lecture is free and open to the public. Participants are encouraged to bring refreshments to share at the reception following the program.
