Please join the Riverview Consort on Friday, February 7 at 8:00 pm at the 1867 Sanctuary in Ewing for their program “Shakespeare on Love”. From songs and dances alluded to or performed in the plays to lyrics written by the bard himself, there is a huge body of delightful music that would have been familiar to Shakespeare and his audiences. Just a week before Valentine’s Day, this program focuses mainly on pieces that explore aspects of love. Performed with period instruments, including lutes, cittern, renaissance guitar, viola da gamba, recorders, cornamuse, and percussion. See you there!
