Choral singers and conductors are invited to a wonderful day of exploring and singing Renaissance and Medieval music. NJ Choral Consortium will host Sing We & Chant It! a full-day workshop led by Dr. Jacqueline Horner-Kwiatek, an expert in chant and early music, Princeton University music performance faculty, and long-time member of the Grammy award-winning ensemble Anonymous 4. We will sing ecstatic chants of Hildegard of Bingen, early polyphony, and delightful Renaissance madrigals.
Walk-in registrations will be accepted as space permits. We expect quite a turnout, so register early to hold your spot. We will provide links to sheet music for registrants when available. Brown bag lunch.
