Join us for a watch party of the 2020 documentary Sisters with Transistors, a celebration of the women who pioneered electronic music. This hybrid event will be held on Thursday, October 13 at 6:30 p.m. Laurie Spiegel, groundbreaking composer and computer programmer who worked at Bell Labs in the 1970s, is scheduled to appear for a virtual discussion following the screening. In-person tickets are $20 General Admission, $10 for Morven Members. Virtual tickets are $10 General Admission, free for Morven Members.

In-person guests may visit the museum and the Ma Bell: The Mother of Invention in New Jersey exhibition from 5 to 6:15 p.m. prior to the screening and discussion. Doors open for the in-person version of the event in the Stockton Education Center at 6:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. For virtual attendees, a Zoom webinar link will be shared via email prior to the event. A recording will be sent to those registered following the program.
