Monmouth Museum Visiting Artist’s Workshop Presents
Sketch Club, with visiting artist Stacey Pritchard
This visiting artist workshop will include 4 sessions,
each from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm
These 4 sessions will take place on October 21, November 4, November 18, and December 2, 2019
Fee’s for these 4 sessions include $100 for members, and $120 for non-members
Please join the Monmouth Museum and Visiting Artist, Stacey Pritchard for an exciting 4 session drawing adventure to improve and free your drawing techniques! Stacey teaches drawing as both process and product and believes “making mark is the very beginning of art making and drawing is a personal language for thought, exploration, meditation and creation”.
This adult level workshop meets biweekly for 4 sessions
Session 1 – Centering, proportion, and measurements
Session 2 – Drawing with the full body
Session 3 – Exploring line and light
Session 4 – Creating and expressing space and emotion
Participants will be required to purchase and bring in their own basic drawing equipment:
• 2 black conte pencils, 1 HB and 1 4H pencil
• Kneaded Eraser, White Latex Eraser
• 14×17 (or larger) sketch pad – 24 pages
