South River will have its first Freecycling event this spring. The
event will be held on driveways, curbs and in yards from 9 a.m. to 4
p.m. on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th. Township
residents can participate one or both days.
Residents can register their addresses and the types of items they
are offering for free online at https://forms.gle/YiLXPxBPfxgGAi4K8.
Registration deadline is 6 P.M., May 12.
A map showing the locations of participating households will be
published online prior to 9 a.m. on May 14th at
https://www.southrivernj.org/ and a link to the map will also be
found on the South River Environmental Commission’s Facebook
page.
Only South River addresses will be shown on the map.
Residents are welcome to join the S.R Environmental Commission
Facebook group for updates.

Freecycling Event is an opportunity to give away unneeded, usable
household items and find things that someone else is discarding. It
is an environmentally responsible trading and treasure hunt that
keeps usable items out of landfills. All items must be offered for free.
