Spend an enlightening evening with General Baron von Steuben during his visit to the Abraham Staats House. Socialize with the General about his role and experiences during the American Revolution, before and after his formal lecture on the topic. Enjoy:

- Tours of the Historic Abraham Staats House — von Steuben’s military headquarters March – June 1779, during the Middlebrook Winter Cantonment of Gen Washington’s army.
House opens 5PM to socialize as the Baron arrives. Seating begins 5:50PM for Lecture at 6PM. Afterwards, talk with the Baron, enjoy dessert and tours of the rooms. House closes at 8PM.

Lecture Series 2020: George Washington’s Army at Middlebrook ~ 1777 & 1778-79
The lectures help inform and educate the public about what happened in Somerset County during the American Revolution by exploring the Middlebrook stays of George Washington’s Army during the encampment of 1777 and winter cantonment of 1778 – 79.
