“The Italian Connection”, involving regional and Flamenco dances from Spain,
interspersed with regional dances and music of Sicily and Naples. Why this concert? Spain occupied these two regions of Italy for three hundred years and there are incredible common bonds found in the music and dances.
As per our norm, Alborada will produce fusion pieces and a new dance/theatrical piece,
plus some re-choreographed pieces reflecting said common bonds between Spain and Italy.
This concert is with the collaboration of “I Giullari Di Piazza”, headed by the well-known
singer/dancer and author Alessandra Belloni who, with her group, have gained much recognition throughout the USA for many years, as well as Italy, and are well known for their Music CD’s.
