The American College of Orgonomy is hosting a free webinar on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 11:00AM to 12:00PM (EDT) as part of its Case Presentation Series. Alberto Foglia, M.D. will present, “Treating the Effects of Permissive Parenting” in a discussion with interviewer/host Chris Burritt, D.O. Following their conversation, you will have the opportunity to ask questions by on-line chat. Please note that because Dr. Foglia will be talking to us from Switzerland, this webinar is scheduled earlier than usual.

Mario, a three-year-old boy, exhibited severe problems of impulse control both at home and school. The severity of his condition was blatantly evident from the first day that he began working with Dr. Foglia. During their first session, the full impact of mother/son attachment problems were observed. The mother had no control over Mario and was unable to direct and guide his strong and willful personality. Accordingly, Mario expressed his rage, hatred and fear in very disturbing ways.

The separation difficulty between Mario and his mother is reminiscent of a case described by Jane Goodall in her famous research and observations in Gombe, Africa. Goodall described how a young chimp, Flint, presented similar attachment problems with his mother Flo, which ultimately brought about his premature death. It is very interesting to see the parallels between the biological weakness of Flo and the emotional weakness of Mario’s mother and how that impacted their offspring

We hope you will join us to hear more of Mario’s story and how medical orgone therapy can effectively address and treat disordered childhood functioning.

The webinar will be facilitated by Zoom and will last approximately one hour. Attendance is free. Registration is required.https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_ZEb2VbmjR4Go2CJLzWBrRA
