VOICES Chorale NJ: Online IRISH COFFEE-HOUSE CONCERT WITH GERRY DIGNAN
A troubadour for our times, acclaimed musician, recording artist and song leader “Uncle” Gerry delights audiences around the world with his charismatic warmth and charm. A long-time friend of Voices and Music Together, Gerry will be sharing his music and story-telling at a special online event on March 15. Dedicated to keeping the Celtic heritage alive, he will perform a range of music from ballads to fast Irish “mouth music.” Listeners will be encouraged to sing along (muted) on Zoom. “I just want to impart to the audience the joy I know in my life, the joy that I know is real…I want to tickle the audience with humor, to include surprises, and to expose listeners to the tenderness of the Celtic spirit.”
