The Wantagh Chamber of Commerce invites you to our 2nd Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade and After Party. Last year our First ever St. Patrick’s Day Parade brought an estimated 50,000 people to our fine town.
This year promises to be bigger and better with more bands, marchers, and vendors along Railroad Avenue which will be closed to traffic after the parade. The Parade will start at Wantagh High School located on Wantagh Ave and Beltagh Ave and conclude on Park Ave.
We are proud to honor our Grand Marshal, Wantagh’s own and Nassau County Police Department Commissioner Patrick Ryder. A dinner will be held at Mulchay’s Pub & Concert Hall on Thursday March 12th from 7-10PM to kick off the Parade Season and present Mr. Ryder with his Irish Walking Stick and Grand Marshal Sash. Parking will be limited as the streets along the LIRR station will be closed for the After Party. Please take the train or car service to Wantagh. Please be advised alcholoic beverages are only permitted in designated areas. This is a Family event, please act accordingly.
