Local Master Potter Caryn Newman opens her studio to the public on Saturday & Sunday, November 6 & 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for her Annual Holiday Show & Sale. Her recent ceramics will be available at the show, displayed outdoors.
“Bowls of all sizes are my specialty and my favorite,” says Newman. Her utilitarian pottery also includes cups, vases and serving pieces. “Adding handmade objects in your daily rituals around food, family and the home, enhance these experiences”. She works in both stoneware and porcelain clays. Her large works provide a focal point in any home décor.
Willowood Pottery is showing at HomeFront’s ArtJam pop-up gallery in Palmer Square, Princeton this year and has been in the juried Trenton City Museum’s Ellarslie Open for several years.
