Y.A.L.E. School welcomes parents and guardians of children with disabilities under the age of 21 to the next event in the Compass Speaker Series, a free presentation at Y.A.L.E. School’s Vocational Annex in Cherry Hill on Thursday, March 19 at 7 p.m. Educators, service providers and all members of the community are also welcome to hear important information to help guide them through the developmental and transitional turning points ahead for a child with disabilities.

This is the third event of Y.A.L.E. School’s Compass Speaker Series – a can’t-miss lineup of sessions featuring experts who can help parents and guardians plan confidently for independent living, employment, education and training, as well as adult services and benefits.

The event features two presentations:

  • “Paving the Way to Adult Agency Supports and Services” by representatives from the N.J. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services and the N.J. Division of Developmental Disabilities

  • “New Directions in School-Based Transition Planning & Services” presented by the Y.A.L.E. Transition Team

The event is free and open to the public. Registration is requested.
