HILLSBOROUGH: Phone, wallet reported stolen; shopping cart wheeled from store

Hillsborough police said a patron of a Route 206 business reported Jan. 13 that his phone and wallet, with an estimated total value of $701, were stolen from his jacket that had been left in a locker.
In other reports from the township police:
– A Petersen Road resident reported Dec. 19 the theft of a mailbox, valued at $80, sometime overnight.
– A Partridge Road resident reported Dec. 18 the theft of a package, valued at $199, from her residence sometime during the day.
– A Varnon Court resident reported Dec. 4 that sometime in October two hub caps, valued at $100, were taken from his vehicle.
– On Nov. 30 an Andria Avenue resident reported that all four ties on his vehicle were slashed in the previous night. The total value of the tires was put at $1,200.
– Molly Elle Upperco, 26, of Stirling, was charged with shoplifting at the Kohl’s department store on Route 206 on Nov. 20. Police said she left the store with a shopping cart full of merchandise with a total value of $524.66 without paying for the items, police allege. She was released pending a court appearance. 

