HILLSBOROUGH: Somerset Players offer ‘The Graduate’ on stage 

Tracey Fama plays the role of Mrs. Robinson in he Somerset Valley Players production of "The Graduate."

The comedy-drama “The Graduate” will be presented by the Somerset Valley Players at their playhouse at 689 Amwell Road (Route 514) on weekends from Feb. 26 to March 13.
Shows are Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. General admission is $20, or $18 for seniors and students.
“Are you trying to seduce me, Mrs. Robinson?” The well-known line from the groundbreaking 1960’s film is adapted for the stage in an evocative portrait of recent college graduate Benjamin, who is aimlessly wandering toward a haphazard future when the lascivious Mrs. Robinson introduces him to real manhood. Dynamic family complications ripple between Benjamin and his well-meaning parents, the perplexed Mr. Robinson and feisty daughter Elaine.
The show is directed by Matthew Muccigrossi and produced by Crystal Coddington.
