The Islamic Society of Central Jersey will hold a special event, “Taking On Anti-Muslim Hate: What You Can Do” at 5 p.m. on April 16 at the center, 4145 Route 1 south, Monmouth Junction.
Guest speaker Brenda Abdelall, director of the Program to Strengthen Muslim Charities Muslim Advocates will discuss how at this especially difficult time in society, the American Muslim community is facing hateful rhetoric and violent crime more than ever.
