Brush collection begins May 9 in South Brunswick

South Brunswick will offer curbside brush collection beginning May 9.

Brush, branches, shrubs, and bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter will be collected. Items must be securely tied in bundles that are less than 50 pounds. Twigs and small branches that are less than  4 feet may be placed in a container.

No bags, leaves, weeds, stumps, litter or garbage will be accepted.

Materials must be at the curb but not in the street by 6:30 a.m. on May 9 in order to ensure collection. The township-wide collection may take more than one week.

Residents choosing the delivery option for recycling their brush may take it to the convenience center located behind Sondek Park, 473 E. New Road at the intersection fo Friendship Road, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
