Celebrate At Snug Harbor hires new Executive Chef

Landmark Hospitality announces the hire of James Graham as the Executive Chef of Celebrate At Snug Harbor, one of the New York area’s premier wedding and event venues. Celebrate At Snug Harbor, formerly a stately home for retired sailors, rests on 83 acres of stunning gardens and boasts a magnificent ballroom in Staten Island, New York.

Graham, a resident of Metuchen, fostered a passion for creating dishes at a young age by shadowing his grandmother. He later graduated from The New York Food and Hotel Management School in 1994. Since that time he has worked at a number of Manhattan’s most notable establishments. Throughout his career Graham has garnered praise for his ability to coordinate banquets in excess of 600 people, as well as his skill in developing and refining new dishes that capture savory flavors through a fusion of Asian and French cuisines.

In addition to serving as Celebrate At Snug Harbor’s Executive Chef, Graham prides himself on sharing his passion for cooking with the community. He currently serves as a Deacon within his local church, Victory Cathedral, where he is developing a culinary program that will teach parishioners, first time mothers and those facing food insecurity the importance of healthy home-cooked meals. Graham also leads a culinary team at ELM Marketplace and volunteers at his church’s food pantry, Joseph’s Stonehouse.
