HILLSBOROUGH: Other Troop 89 Scouts earning Eagle, too

Hillsborough Mayor Frank DelCore presented Nathaniel Trampe with a Township Committee resolution Tuesday night for achieving the Eagle rank.

Troop 89 has had a busy year producing Eagle Scouts.
“Zack“ Krasnansky is just one of seven teens from the troop earning Boy Scouting’s highest honor. Nathaniel Trampe was honored by the Township Committee on Tuesday night.
Another five — Anthony Hebert, Daniel Eppes, Jarred Tebbi, Nicholas Yarka and Christopher Sireci — earned the honor list this year, according to a plaque with newly installed tags on a plaque in the municipal building.
Nathaniel had his official ceremony on June 5, he said. Three others will have their Courts of Honor on July 31, he said.
The governing body’s resolution says it “recognizes the many hours …devoted to attaining the status of Eagle Scout, working with diligence and making sacrifices in order to achieve this highly coveted position.“
Nathaniel, a cross country and track athlete, is a rising senior at Hillsborough High. His project was to design and lead the construction of six wheelchair-accessible gardening tables at the Somerset community garden on Amwell Road in Franklin Township. The gardening tables allow those with mobility challenges to experience the joy and pleasures of gardening, according to the township resolution given to Nathaniel.
He said he spent 144 hours working on the project.
