SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Road closures are expected on Route 27 over the course of the weekend.
Route 27, between Route 518 and Promenade Boulevard, will be closed to traffic in both directions beginning 9 p.m. Aug. 26 until 6 a.m. Aug. 29.
The New Jersey Department of Transportation project will install a temporary bridge ahead of a scheduled drainage project to begin later this summer, according to information provided by the South Brunswick Police Department.
Motorists are cautioned to expect delays and to seek alternate routes during this closure. There will be posted detours for motorists’ choosing to use Route 27.
