Calls for extended time between elections

Voting on Election Day, voting ballot

Every four years the United States gets ready for a new presidential election, and it’s been going on since our independence in 1776.

I urge all lawmakers to reconsider the timing of presidential elections. The presidential election should be held every seven years, and a president should still have a two-term limit. Similarly, all other elections for senators, congressmen and governors should be held every seven years, with a two-term limit of service.

The reason for the change is to save money and time for our nation.
