Brush pickup to begin May 15 in South Brunswick

The Township of South Brunswick will offer curbside brush pickup beginning on May 15.

Items that will be picked up include brush, branches, shrubs, bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter. They must be securely tied in bundles that are less than 50 pounds. Twigs and small branches that are less than 4 feet may be placed in a container.

Bags, leaves, stumps, litter and garbage will not be collected.

Materials must be at the curb, not in the street, by 6:30 a.m. on May 15 in order to ensure collection. The township-wide collection may take more than one week.

Residents may also bring brush from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday to the convenience center located behind Sondek Park, 473 E. New Road, near the intersection of Friendship Road.
