Indo-American Cultural Foundation holds summer picnic

More than 400 people attended the Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central Jersey (IACFNJ) summer picnic at Mercer County Park on June 25.

More than 400 people from local communities heavily populated with Indian Americans and South Asians – including South Brunswick, North Brunswick, Monroe, Princeton, Princeton Junction, Franklin Park, East Brunswick, East Windsor and West Windsor – participated in activities including games, bingo, henna tattoos, cricket, music, singing and deejaying by DJ Darshan and Ashish from Desi Experiment LLC, according to information provided by the IACFNJ.

The new executive committee was elected unanimously on May 20 for two-year terms: Chairman Hitesh Patel, President Tushar Patel, Vice President Mahesh Patel, Vice President Deven Patel, Secretary Mac Shah, Treasurer Rajesh Patel and Surabhi Agarwal as joint secretary to serve in the executive committee. Raojibhai Patel, Rewo Nawani, Murthy Yerramilli and Jadhav Chaudhary are the trustees for the organization.
