Volunteers recognized for hundreds of hours of service

The South Brunswick Senior Center held its annual Volunteer Recognition Ceremony on Dec. 1 for its 145 volunteers who serve in 25 different jobs. Business Bistro served a catered dinner as Christine Wildemuth, center director, presented each volunteer with a certificate and small gift. The President of the United States offers a special Volunteer Service award certificate and pin to qualified individuals: Jenus Anbu, left to right, received the adult bronze award for serving between 250-499 hours; Joann Muscianesi was the first-ever volunteer at the center to receive the adult gold award for serving more than 500 hours (693); and South Brunswick High School student Mahak Gill received the youth bronze award for serving 100-174 hours.
