Diversity Wall to be unveiled at South Brunswick Library

The Diversity Wall is an Eagle Scout service project by Param Shah, a South Brunswick resident and student at Rutgers Preparatory School. Its objective is to deliver a message of strength, unity and harmony while embracing diversity. In this age where a wall is seen as a mechanism that divides people, The Diversity Wall, with Planet Earth in the middle, consists of flags from the 196 U.N. member countries. It delivers the message of the United States motto “e pluribus unum” (out of many, one) to this world.
A dedication ceremony will be held at 1 p.m. on Nov. 18 at the South Brunswick Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction section of South Brunswick.
The event will include a Scout salute, the Pledge of Allegiance, and recital of the Star Spangled Banner. This event will provide a forum to recognize diversity in South Brunswick and efforts of local volunteers.
All are welcome to attend.
