Cranbury Senior Center

For Cranbury senior residents the Cranbury Senior Center will have St. Patrick’s Sing Along program on March 22. The programs are held in the Senior Community Center downstairs at Cranbury Town Hall on 23 N Main St.

Shade Tree Commission

The Shade Tree Commission will be planting a tree in the Township for Arbor Day, which takes place on April 26. Arbor Day is a day dedicated annually to public tree planting in the United States and other nations. A decision has not been made yet on the location where the tree will be planted.

Cranbury Public Library

Residents in Cranbury will have the opportunity to participate in NJ Makers Day at the Cranbury Public Library on 23 N. Main St. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will go from March 22-23. There is no age restriction and registration. There will also be a paper airplane contest.

Coffee with The Mayor and Police Chief

A reminder to residents Coffee with Mayor James Taylor and Police Chief Rickey Varga takes place on March 23 from 8-10 a.m. at Teddy’s Restaurant. The event allows residents to voice concerns or issues they may have directly to the mayor and police chief. It happens once a month. Teddy’s Restaurant is located on 49 N Main St.

Woman’s Club of Cranbury

The Woman’s Club of Cranbury is offering a Student Community Service Scholarship Award. The deadline to apply for this scholarship is April 30. You can find the application on womansclubofcranbury.org.

The students who apply must reside in Cranbury Township. Females and Males are open to apply for the scholarship. Those applying must be a high school senior who will be entering their first year of postsecondary education. Individuals who apply must also have shown examples of community service, that include volunteerism, leadership, or other virtues of service.

The Woman’s Club is also offering another scholarship called the Woman Student Scholarship Award. The deadline to apply is also April 30. This scholarship is for a woman to pursue post-secondary education after a break from education. You can find the application on womansclubofcranbury.org.

The women who apply must reside in Middlesex or Mercer County, be pursuing post-secondary education, and must have evidence of secondary school graduation.
