The Edison Chamber of Commerce will hold its 20th annual awards dinner at 6 p.m. on Oct. 10 at the Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27, Edison.
The chamber is seeking nominations for people, businesses and organizations who make a positive difference in the Edison community.
Categories include: member of the year, outstanding business, citizen of the year for community spirit, organization of the year for community spirit, non-profit organization of the year, entrepreneur/young entrepreneur/female entrepreneur of the year, vocational student of the year, veteran business of the year, educator of the year, hotel/restaurant/hospitality of the year, and architect of the year.
Anyone can make a nomination. Write a narrative explaining why the nominee deserves recognition, and the accomplishments he/she/it has achieved. Articles, awards and background information may be submitted. Limit the description to 350 words.
Award recipients must make a commitment to be present.
Previous winners are eligible when being recognized for a different distinction.
